I would not say they hate her, more like what spicykimbap said, more like they didn't know what to do with her: To sum it up after Island her character kept changing each season. However her elimination this season was pretty unfair but it was obvious that she was not going to become a finalist due to already being one in Island. She used to be this cool emo/goth chick now she’s a crybaby who tries to suck up to Courtney even when keeping her relationship with her ex-boyfriend. All the hope of Gwen becoming back to her old self has been sabotaged. I love Gwen she’s in my top 10 but I felt satisfied for her elimination. Then she pretends that she has done nothing wrong and seduces Cody into voting Courtney. Apparently kissing someone else’s boyfriend was something she could benefit off of. Has she forgotten about “karma” the thing that got her voted off in Action. Backstabbing your new friend and kissing her boyfriend that still has feelings for her was one of the worst things she has done.

Ehh she was alright in the beginning of the series acting pretty normal. She could have at least talked to him about it instead of just plain on breaking up with him. She was alright but god that break up with Trent was horrible. And her rivalry with Heather was awesome. She had a perfect boyfriend and a best friend(Leshawna).
